Date night!

So we decided to stay in town for the holiday weekend. We were asked to help clean the church today and all the other nursery leaders will be out of town tomorrow, so we figured it might be better if we stayed. That's all right by me though. It won't be long before our big summer trip. I'm SO excited to go home! It's going to be amazing.

Jeff came home yesterday, and we decided to go on a date. We went out to dinner (a VERY rare occurance these days) to the local Thai restaurant. After that, we decided that since it was such a nice evening that we'd go out to the golf course. We rented a golf cart and took off! I've never ridden in one before, usually if I go out with Jeff we walk the course, but this was a date so we went all out!

Jeff played 9 holes in a part of the course I've never really seen. There are a lot of water hazards and tons of beautiful trees. It was such a fun date. We just talked, he played, I took pictures. It was really fun.

Look at this beautiful lady. She's my mom. 

She had a hip replacement this past week. Poor girl! I hope you get better, Mom! You're the strongest and best person I know. You can do it! You'll be up and running laps around all of us before you know it! Get better soon, Sweet Girl!
