It's been a while since I've written. I trust you are well. Well, I'd assume so since I haven't heard otherwise. A lot has been going on with us. The semester is coming to a close this week. My last official day is on Wednesday, and Jeff will finish on Friday. From there, we'll be cleaning and packing up for our summer vacation, manning the nursery at church, and then will be leaving on Monday morning.
Don't worry about Dali though, she'll be shacking up at a potato farm! Funny, huh? There is a family in our ward that owns and lives on a farm. They have a large, fenced-off space for their own lab and said Dali was welcome to stay with them while we're away. I am so very grateful for this since our usual dog-sitter, MyLinda, is going to be away on her own family vacation. It is a blessing to know such good people that are willing to help you when you have a need. I really love our family ward.
Also this week, we welcomed a new member to the Nelson family. And here she is:
She's a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder LE. We turned the Altima in and opted for a much roomier vehicle and one with 4x4! I can't believe we've lived in and survived Rexburg winters up until this point without four wheel drive. We are both really happy with our decision and my favorite part? It has a two seat option preset so after I drive it, all I have to do is push a button so that it moves the seat back to where Jeff had it before. Very cool.
Another big thing that's happening next week is that I will be taking the Praxis II. It's the test I have to take in order to get my teaching certification in Idaho. I'm not TOO stressed about it yet, even though it's on Saturday. I only have to take one test and it's on English content knowledge. I'm planning to spend some time at the BYUI library this week to work on a few practice tests and orient myself with the test format. But to me honest, I wish I could just write a big, long paper. I'm horrible at test-taking. The good thing is that this time next week it will all be over. Thank goodness! Wish me luck!
P.S. Movie Recommendation: see Inception. It's the kind of movie you need to see more than once though. We're planning to see it again once it hits the discount theater. It definitely makes you think!

oh what a beauty... congratulations to you both
I miss my car that had seats like that. I used to get into Marty's car & tell him the seats were broken.
Good luck on your testing.
