These babies are coming in the mail today

I'm very excited. Sometimes it seems as though I am strongly attracted to things that are so ugly, they're cute! And NO! I'm not talking about my handsome husband! But I am enamoured by these shoes.

I also can't get enough of English bulldogs

Oh, isn't that the sweetest little puppy dog you've ever seen?! A lot of people might disagree, but I melt for these wrinkley little bullies.

Anyway, getting back to business. Today feels like Friday. I've decided to cancel class on Friday. Last year I only had seven students show up to class on the Friday before the Fourth. I was not very happy. This way, I'm not setting myself up for disappointment. I'm striving to cut the drama out of life and just enjoy the days as they pass. I don't want to look back on my life and my decisions and always have regrets. NO REGRETS! That's my newest motto!

So maybe in keeping with that thought, we'll have to finally make a decision about our weekend plans! We're trying to decide if we'll get out of town or not. Personally, I'll take any excuse to leave Rexburg, even for only a short trip. It's just so pleasant to have a change of scenery. Jeff, on the other hand, is slowly becoming more and more of a hermit. It's so funny that my California boy no longer enjoys crowds, loves the outdoors whether he's golfing or shooting, enjoys the comforts of home and would rather stay in than have a night out on the town. BUT, he knows that sometimes I just need to get out of the house, so he's good at sucking it up and taking me out on a date. So maybe we will take a little trip this weekend, I sure could use it.

Wherever I am, I want to see some fireworks this weekend!
