Rambling

I don't have a specific reason for blogging today; I just really wanted to! I always have some time between two of my classes every MWF. It's usually designated as my "blogging time." Either that or I use the time to meet with students or enter grades.

So a couple of neat things happened this week. My bridesmaid dress was delivered, and I LOVE IT! Jaime is having seven bridesmaids, and she told everyone to wear black. I was stressed about finding something nice to wear, but I'm now so glad that I found such a pretty dress! I'm getting it altered on Monday. It's a little big on top and needs a little work to make it not so low in the front, but it should be an easy fix. I can't wait! Oh and last week, Jaime and I were able to find seven of the same colored shoe in all the right sizes for the bridesmaids. We couldn't believe our luck, and we spent only a fraction of what we thought it would cost. I'm getting very excited for the wedding. I didn't really plan my wedding, so it's fun to get to be more active part in the process with Jaime and Ryan's wedding.

Also this week, we bought a "Flip" camcorder from Sam's. It's is a fun, little contraption. It was reasonably priced and VERY easy to use, which is really a plus for me. I like simplicity. I'm excited to use it, but it's more of a "school" purchase than any thing else right now. Jeff and I are pretty boring, so there won't be a lot of videos with us in them. The reason we bought it is because I have to record myself for a lot of my graduate assignments. The plus side of being forced to make this purchase is that when school's over, we can use it to record videos of our growing family. I think that will be awesome!

Other than that, all of Rexburg was fooled yesterday. The day started out promising, showing a little bit of sun and then snowed for the entire rest of the day. Not so funny. The cold weather gave me an excuse to make some soup. I tried a recipe for white bean chili. It was wonderful and comforting on such a cold night. I'm also excited for the leftovers :)

I hope that you all have a wonderful Easter holiday. We're looking forward to spending time together and watching conference. I can't believe that it's already April! I am so excited for summer!

Wow, I used a lot of exclamation points. Sorry about that.

My parents bought me a flip for Christmas 07 when they first came out for snowboarding!
Sad thing is I rarely use it anymore! But it'd the best video camera I've ever used! Great buy!
