Oh yeah and there is snow on the ground. Gross.
In other news, Jeff and I took an impromptu trip to CA. It was such a wonderful diversion from the cold and monotony of Rexburg. We were coming home from church a couple weeks ago and the weather took a turn for the worse. It was snowing, and I told Jeff in a grumpy voice "I want to go to California!" "Really?" he asked, and not sure about my answer because knowing Jeff, we would definitely be going, I hesistantly answered "Yes."
So we went home, packed clothes and snacks, and left a half hour later. Jeff is so fun! We made the trip before from Rexburg to CA while we were dating, and we swore that we would never make the trip again. I guess we lied. The trip was much more enjoyable this time, but we're not planning to make the trip again any time soon. It's a long trip that's for sure.
I wish that I had some pictures, and I meant to take some. I packed the camera and everything. I just have problems sometimes. I just forget. I know, I know.
Anyway it was such a great trip. We got to feel what 80 degrees feels like. I got to pick an orange off of Grandma Nelson's tree. It was basically the highlight of a lifetime. I was so excited! I think Jeff and Grandma thought I was a little crazy, but it was delicious. We also got to try some of her tangerines. What a treat!
We got to go shopping at a really nice outdoor mall, Victoria Gardens. We went to sushi with Jeff's dad and some of his friends. We also got to stay with Jeff's mom in her new house! It is such a nice house. We loved it. We can't wait for them to get all settled in :) It will be beautiful!
Oh and yes, we had In-N-Out. Thank goodness :)
And the last thing I want to report is that the results are in. I am officially a college professor. I have been rated (click here to see the report) on ratemyprofessors.com. It is a site that a lot of students use when choosing their courses. Many people think that you don't take the course, you take the professor. This website ensures that you pick a professor that you will most likely approve of and all of my ratings are positive! Oh and each person who rated me gave me a "pepper." Apparently this means I'm "hot." Awesome.

Hot huh? I always thought you were really cool, but I’m not a young love starved RM. Anyway, congrats professor!
Yes, When in NZ, I thought the citrus trees were very awesome too. Fresh orange, grapefruit, or lemonade was great.
As for running off to LA, isn’t fun to be able to be spontaneous? It doesn’t always work out, but when it does, it’s usually just what you needed.
Sorry for your job situation. Hope everything works out for the both of you.
I friend of mine just won a job here by looking for any new business going in and approached to management just prior them posting opens. They hired him right away two months before the place was to open. He will get training for the next 6 weeks and the company that hired him doesn't incur any advertizing costs. Everyone wins!
Oh BTW, yes you are awesome too.
Love DAD
i went to the site and didn't see I pepper on any of the reviews. However, on the main page it has a pepper on you. We think you are hot though.
