Have you ever thought, "I'd like to know more about Melanie"?

You're in luck! I'm in the mood to write about myself.
Here a little list of little unknown "Melanie" facts:

• “Puff the Magic Dragon” makes me cry every time and here is why,

One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more

And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar

His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,

Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane

Without his life-long friend, Puff could not be brave

So Puff that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave.

• I finally got a little sister when I was 21 years old. Everywhere we go we’re mistaken for sisters. This is especially awkward at Nelson Family functions.
• My birthday is Mexico’s Independence Day.
• My best friend, besides my husband or any other family member, is a man in his late forties. His name is Jack.
• I LOVE cilantro.
• My favorite Pandora station is "Kate Nash"
• I had to wear a patch on my eye for three days. Thanks Melissa.
• The coolest place I’ve ever been is probably the Visionary Art Museum of America in Baltimore.
• I got my dad’s worrying gene.
• I have hobbit feet with lil' smokey toes. Again, thanks Melissa. It’s okay though, I like my feet
• Every time I lock my door from the inside, I’m always afraid that someone is about to break in at that very second
• I have issues with a lot of fruits. The ripeness has to be perfect or I cannot eat it e.g. bananas, apples, grapes
• Chocolate chip cookies and milk are my favorite dessert
• I LOVE when chips are “folded”
