Just one quick thing...

I just wanted to take a minute to blog. Our trip to Jackson was very nice. We did run into a little bit of snow while driving through the Teton pass, but don't worry Dad, we took it slow. On Saturday we spent some time in town walking and shopping with Jaime and her friend. It was rainy and cold, but that didn't stop us from having a nice time. We had sushi for lunch, and I found a super cute pair of black flats--I've been in desperate need of a new pair. Living in Idaho, you can't afford to not have a decent collection of flats.

We spent the rest of the weekend sleeping, watching movies, and relaxing. We also spent a fair amount of time at Albertsons for some reason. It was the nicest, biggest Albertsons I've ever seen. They sold lots and lots of gourmet foods, even in the freezer section. We found a Chicago deep-dish pizza straight from Chicago, hand-made. We bought it. It was the most expensive frozen pizza I have ever eaten. I wasn't disappointed.

This week hasn't been different from any other, just both of us working to pay the bills. But on Wednesday this past week, I came home after a twelve hour day to a sweet little display from Jeff. He set out a special cupcake from a local cupcake bakery along with a card just to say thanks for being his wife. Needless to say, there were tears of joy. It may not be a regular occurrence, but it really made my day.

Other than that, I don't have much to say about our Halloween festivities, mainly because we didn't celebrate. See, Jeff isn't a huge Halloween fan. Neither of us likes scary movies and growing up, Jeff had been pretty sick on a couple of different Halloween nights so his memories are kind of sad rather than cheerful. Poor Jeffy. Plus, even though it's delicious, Halloween candy is expensive and so are pumpkins, so we decided to use that money to treat ourselves to dinner out on the town. Works for me; however, I know that when we have children this mentality will change which is just fine by me.

Sounds like life is going great for you two...even with your 12 hour work days! We were sort of lame with Halloween too...just did a ward party, I couldn't justify taking Addison trick or treating seeing as how she would not be eating the candy! I miss seeing you neighbor!
