Oh Mr. Sandman...

I can't sleep, so I thought I would work on a new post. I found this idea while snooping around blog world the other day.

Here are the instructions if you would like to play around too:

Step 1: Go to flickr.com

Step 2: In another window open http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/mosaic.php

Step 3: Choose 4 columns, 3 rows

Step 4: Answer the questions in the search bar of flickr and pick your favorite picture on the page and paste the address into the mosaic maker. Create the mosaic and then save it to your computer and post it as a picture.

1. My name: Melanie. There are two Spice Girls with the same name as me. You may know them as “Mel B” and “Mel C.”

2. My favorite food: Sushi. I didn’t even know I liked it until Jeff asked me to try it. Now, I’m hooked.

3. My high school: Warwick High School in Lititz, PA. Thank goodness I never have to go back there ;) I know there are people out there that really liked high school, and I am very happy for them; however, I really wasn’t one of them.

4. My favorite color: Green has been the favorite for the last couple of years, but I’ve been really into yellow and purple lately.

5. The place that I am now: Rexburg, Idaho and so is this beautiful temple.

6. My favorite drink: I’m pretty simple. I mostly drink water, but since I left home a glass of milk is heavenly.

7. My dream vacation: I would love to go to Europe and see all the sites. Since Jeff was little he has wanted to go to Belgium to see the castles there. We can add that stop to the list too.

8. My favorite treat: Chocolate chip cookies have ALWAYS been my go-to for dessert. Lately though, I’ve had this insatiable craving for hot fudge sundaes with peanuts.

9. What I want to be when I grow up: This might sound cheesy, but I want to be like my mom. She’s my best girl. Vocationally? After I visited Random House in New York with a school group, I decided I wanted to be an acquisitions editor.

10. What’s most important to me: Love. All kinds.

11. A word to describe me: Caring. Sometimes I think I care too much. Just ask my students.

12. A nickname of mine: For some reason, Jeff calls me “Monkey” a lot. Oh and I'm listed as “Cake” in his phone. I think it’s a shortened version of “Babycake” or something. We’re weird. I like it.
