Okay, we all know that blogs are a place to showcase how happy we are and how in love we are with our spouses. And yes, I'm guilty of this and yes, I DO love my husband very much BUT...
I wish I had a wife.
That's right, I said it.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to hand over responsibility to someone else--a person that you KNOW will get it all done?
No more dishes, no more laundry, no more remembering significant dates like birthdays and holidays (although Jeff does well with any dates that concern us like my birthday, holidays, and anniversaries), no more paying bills, no more making sure we have the nursery lesson prepared, no more taking Dali out to do her business, no more making frustrating phone calls to people that are trying to ruin our lives or credit, no more making the bed, no more cleaning the bathroom (especially the toilet), no more, no more, no more!
Awww, wouldn't that be heaven?!
On the other hand, I'm glad that I don't fix and maintain the cars. I'm glad that I'm not trying to earn my bachelors degree. I'm glad I don't have to deal with mood swings (at least not being on the receiving end). I'm glad I don't have to cook every meal because Jeff likes to cook. I'm glad I don't ever have to check the mail. I'm glad that I don't have to shave my face nearly every day.
And in a way, I'm grateful for what I get to do for my husband and the family we hope to have. I like taking care of us. I like when things work like clockwork, just the way I like them. So who's complaining? Not me ;)

aww what a good wifey you are :)
way to see the positive and enjoy th moment
haha I love when mom is visiting because it is exactly what you want/need...a live in person who loves your kids like you do, shares responsibilities and irons my husbands shirts :) I need her in my life everyday! I totally know what you mean about loving taking care of your family. I love when I get a million "chores" completed even if no one else notices. Can't wait to see your face, love!
