Kelsey and I made the shish kabobs, and the boys cooked.
Jeff and Cory hard at work.
This table was huge.
The view from the master balconey. Yes, they still have snow.
The view from the third floor. I thought this was a neat shot.
We invited our friends, Cory and Kelsey to join us for the weekend. Jaime (Jeff's sister) and a couple of her girlfriends also joined us on Friday and made breakfast for us before they left on Saturday.
We spent the weekend in Deer Valley ski resort in Utah. We got into our condo around 10pm on Friday night because of late classes and work, but after scoping out the place, we jumped into the hot tub and enjoyed a late night of visiting with our friends. The next day, we walked around looking at shops and then made our way to the outlets close by. We found a few great bargains and also ran into Elder and Sister Bednar in the Nike outlet. Jeff and Cory shook hands with them and talked for a couple minutes. Kelsey and I must not have been paying attention.
Later that day, we went grocery shopping so we could barbeque for lunch on Sunday before heading back to Idaho. We were all pretty tired from staying up late and shopping and walking everywhere, but finally headed down to downtown Park City for dinner. We got a recommendation for a restaurant, so we decided to try it out. We were told that we would be spending no more than $15 each for dinner. Actually, the least expensive dinner was a hamburger which was $19 and the prices just skyrocketed from there. Needless to say, we decided to find something else for dinner. We ended up with pizza--you can't go wrong with pizza :)
I was pretty excited to get a caramel apple at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. I got a caramel, chocolate, and pecan apple and Jeff picked some caramel fudge. We were both pretty happy with our choices, especially since we got to share with each other!
